“Each year for our mother’s birthday my sister, sister-in-law and I take her to a B&B for a girl’s weekend. This year we choose Morehead Manor. We have never stayed at a inn that we enjoyed more. The rooms were clean and inviting… such a peaceful place to rest and the breakfast was delicious. Daniel and Monica went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and they were so informative about the area – where to shop, eat, what to see. Highly recommend this inn to everyone and hope to go back and visit soon. Comfortable, Relaxing and Very Friendly.”
“Looking for somewhere nice to celebrate my husband’s birthday, I located Morehead Manor on the Internet and we gave it a try. The decor, charming atmosphere, and comfortable furnishings in this 1910, 3-story mansion make you forget you are less than a mile away from downtown Durham with all it has to offer! Lovely breakfasts prepared with thoughtful accommodation to personal likes and needs. We would happily go back!”
“My wife and I were in Durham for one night. It was our wedding anniversary. We decided to try the Morehead Manor. We were delighted with what we found. B&B’s are all so different. Our room, the “Tiger Room,” was very comfortable and private. Our bed was very restful. The breakfast the next morning was delicious. We even learned, from our hostess, a little of the history of the building, which is both impressive visually and historically. If we return to Durham, we look forward to staying in Morehead Manor again.”
