The closest bed and breakfast to Biltmore Estate, Southern hospitality in Victorian style, Beautiful Blue Ridge Mountain views, Delicious chef prepared cuisine. Biltmore Village Inn is located on top of Reed Hill, above Biltmore Village. You can see why Samuel Reed, George Vanderbilt’s private attorney, situated his mansion here in 1892 after he sold Mr. Vanderbilt the land that is now Biltmore Village. It commanded a 360-degree view of the mountains, and overlooked the Village and the Swannanoa River valley. Treat yourself or loved one to a luxurious and award winning bed and breakfast experience by choosing our Inn.
“Five stars aren’t enough! My wife surprised me for my 60th birthday by taking me to Asheville. My mouth was hanging open when we drove up the driveway to this AMAZING house… no, scratch that… amazing MANSION! Once occupied by Vanderbilt’s own lawyer, I felt like I had crossed the time-space continuum to walk into the past. The architecture, the furnishings, the wall hangings, all the appointments are just so very right. We had the honeymoon suite which overlooked the valley and the mountains beyond, as we lounged on the lovely patio, pergola overhead and a roaring fire to sit by. Even though it was just the two of us for breakfast the next morning, Chef Sean met us with an elegant presentation. We hadn’t told them it was my birthday, but being top-notch at hospitality, they noticed on the reservation when my birthday was and added the little extra touch to make my day special. To top off all these good points, it is just up the hill from the historic Biltmore Village, replete with shops and restaurants, and just a hop, skip and a jump to the Biltmore House itself. After the first night, I wrote my kids back at home and said, “We’ve decided to remain here. Please send our things to this address!”
“We booked our trip for my birthday in early October. Unfortunately, we were in the path of Hurricane Matthew. The staff of the Inn were so helpful and understanding. They changed our reservation to the next week and we were very lucky to get the Biltmore Suite with a separate Living area and beautiful views and sunrises! The Inn was full and everyone was lovely and friendly. Breakfast was wonderful! I’m not normally the type of person to get up early and rush out the door but the delicious breakfasts were well worth it! Again the staff were all wonderful and so very helpful with every need. We were considering a new hotel in town but are so happy we decided on this beautiful, cozy and comfortable Inn!”
“Home Again! Whenever we travel through western North Carolina or visit Asheville with family to enjoy the city and the mountains, my wife and I stay at the Biltmore Village Inn. So it was the only destination we considered for our anniversary weekend this month. The beautiful Victorian home has been restored and refined to provide every amenity in a wonderful setting, and the breakfasts are truly elegant and always special. But the Inn’s greatest asset is the staff: Monica, Eleanor, Sean, Steve, Kim and the others who make extraordinary efforts to see to our comfort. The Inn is like our second home. We recommend the Biltmore Village Inn to our friends and other travelers everywhere.”
