Love is in the Valentines Air

love is in the valentines air

Love is in the Valentines Air! Yes, it is that super romantic time of year for couples. Who can resist staying at our dreamy North Carolina Bed and Breakfast Inns? Many of our member inns offer packages and/or extras like a bouquet of flowers, chocolate, and even rose petals scattered on your bed. Cartoonist Charles M. Schulz famously stated, “All you need is love, but a little chocolate now and then doesn’t hurt.”

Valentine’s Day is always on the 14th of February. According to Greek mythology, Cupid was the son of Mercury, the winged messenger of the gods and Venus, the goddess of love. He often appeared as a winged infant carrying a bow and a quiver of arrows that inspired love and passion in anyone he chose. Poet Antoine De Saint-Exupery wrote, “Love is not just looking at each other, it’s looking in the same direction.”

Our friendly innkeepers are happy to “play Cupid” if you are thinking of “popping the question” to your partner and would like to know other romantic settings in their local areas.  We can also give you the privacy you may desire during this special time in your relationship. Some of our member inns host elopements, weddings, and vow renewals.

Perhaps you are expecting a baby and the two of you would like to get away before baby makes three! We love having baby-mooners stay with us. Many of our inns can provide sparkling wine for our guests who are also expectant mothers.

This could even be an ideal time for a girls’ getaway. Author Henry Van Dyke said, “A friend is what the heart needs all the time.” Whether you are single or married, sometimes getting fun time with gal pals is exactly what would enhance your female friendships.

North Carolina Bed and Breakfast Inns loves to host couples, baby-mooners, and close friends especially on Valentine’s Day! Guests always enjoy a delicious complimentary breakfast each morning.
