ABOUT North Carolina Bed & Breakfast Inns

NCBBI is a non-profit, statewide organization established in 1985 by a concerned group of innkeepers recognizing the need for an association that would ensure high standards in safety, housekeeping, food service, comfort and hospitality for all member inns so that the traveling public could stay in these lodgings with confidence. It was one of the first such organizations in the country to become established.

A NCBBI member bed and breakfast inn is your key to unlocking the fascinating diversity of North Carolina. Escape to the mountains and treat yourself to scenic grandeur and star-gazing. Discover peaceful nourishment and nature’s lullaby in rural landscapes. Check into a wonderful Bed and Breakfast in the heart of town to find historic streets at your doorstep. Choose from historic Victorians, cozy farmhouses, delightful family homes, or elegant mansions. NCBBI member inns must pass a rigorous inspection. Guests at NCBBI member bed and breakfasts and inns can be assured of the highest standards in quality, safety, housekeeping, food service, comfort and hospitality.

Aunt Adeline’s Bed and Breakfast
Discover the magic of Hendersonville from your exclusive bed and breakfast hideaway lodging. Originally a boarding house, Aunt Adeline’s B&B was built between 1917 and 1923 and recently updated. It’s an active property on the Federal Register of Historic Homes, located in Historic Hyman Heights. Downtown Hendersonville is an easy 15 to 20 minute walk from the inn, which is located in a quiet residential district nestled in a grove of mature trees. The original over-sized windows allow for ample lighting and impressive views of our park-like setting and the surrounding mountains.

Hill House Bed & Breakfast
Hill House Bed & Breakfast, located less than one mile from downtown Asheville, is a place with one foot very much in the present and the other in a past we all cherish. Rooms hint both of the timelessness of Grandma Knows and the romance of Guitar Nights. Unwind on the big, cozy, wraparound front porch, the kind like they stopped making long ago. This grand 1885 home is a place both for drawing closer to loved ones and making new friends. Relax or play on the grassy secluded lawn, be inspired by our Appalachian garden, let our big, awesome wooden doors and gentle chandeliers soothe you, and sleep in the small-town stillness beneath 12-foot ceilings that have heard it all.
