Every five years, the 325,000 readers of Blue Ridge Country magazine are asked to weigh in on their favorite mountain spots. The result is the super popular “The Best of the Mountains” issue. The results are in for the best places in the NC mountains to visit and we couldn’t be happier to share them with our Bed and Breakfast blog readers!
Blue Ridge Country magazine covers the mountain regions of nine southern states, showcasing history, food, festivals, travel, the outdoors and the environment. It’s a lovely publication. They’ve got an info-packed website and a very active Facebook page with lots of great eye candy that will have you hankering to head for the hills.
This year, the “Best of the Mountains” survey included many new categories: best waterfall, best southern cooking, best scenic drives and more. Readers submitted their votes online for over two months.
