Robert E. (Bob) Woody — President: Proprietor of The White Doe Inn B&B, Manteo, NC (252) 473-9851;
Graduate of North Carolina State University (zoology and wildlife
mgmt.), retired National Park Ranger (33years, 4 National Parks, 4
Historic Parks, 1 National Monument, 1Recreation Area, and 1 National
Seashore). Currently, board member of the Manteo Preservation Trust.
Innkeeper since 1995; Member of NCBBI for 14 years as well as a Member of PAII for 14 years.
Gene Wyatt—Vice President/Membership: Co-Owner and Innkeeper of the Acorn Bed & Breakfast in Mills River, NC
- between Asheville and Hendersonville. Degree in Culinary Arts. Served in the
Navy for 4 years. Have been in the hospitality industry for 42 years
including previous owner/manager of The Iowa Inn Restaurant, Corporate
positions with Carnival Cruise Lines and Biltmore Estate. Former secretary for
NCBBI 2010. Happy to be following my dream!

Cynthia Carroll — Treasurer: Proprietor of The Waverly Inn B&B — Hendersonville, NC; Past president NCBBI, Advisory Board Member of PAII.
Diane Sheiry — Executive Committee/Regional Representative (Mountains): Proprietor of Shady Wagon Farm B&B — New Hill, NC; Past president NCBBI, Advisory Board Member of PAII.
Karen Pullen— Executive Committee/Regional Representative (Piedmont): Owner/Innkeeper Rosemary House Bed & Breakfast in historic Pittsboro, NC.
With degrees in math, engineering, and creative writing, she worked for a
systems engineering consulting firm for sixteen years. Rosemary House has been a
member NCBBI since 2000; Karen previously served on the NCBBI Board as VP
Inspections and Treasurer. When not innkeeping, she writes mysteries, teaches
memoir writing, babysits grandkids, and plays online Scrabble.

Elizabeth City NC - Retired from a 25 year career in Interior Design and retail management. Attended the
University of North
Carolina - Greensboro. Relocated 12 times
during the last 38 years of marriage. Mother of two grown sons. Currently on
board of several organizations in
Elizabeth City – Committee of 100, Design River City, and member of Women Givers of
Northeast NC. Joined NCBBI two years
ago, several months after taking over the Culpepper Inn.
