FLETCHER
Once you’ve arrived in the quaint town of Fletcher, NC, and checked into one of our lovely bed and breakfast inns - which are always a nice alternative to a traditional hotel stay.
What should you do next? How about a drive or stroll through some of our peaceful outdoor destinations. There’s the Western North Carolina Nature Center, just a short distance away. There’s also the North Carolina Agricultural Center, Mt. Mitchell State Park, and Chimney Rock Park.
Let’s learn a little about Flat Rock. The manufacturing industry here consists of wooden furniture, lumber, limestone processing, printing, and construction materials. Then, of course, there’s the agriculture—tobacco, soybeans, dairies, hogs, corn, and potatoes.
Explore some history at the Thomas Wolf Memorial Site. Whether you’re in the area to visit the University of North Carolina or to attend the activities at the Horse Show Arena, you’ll be warmly welcomed here. One last bit of advice…cruise on up the Blue Ridge Parkway when it’s time to head for home. |
